UCSD Entrepreneur Challenge - An entirely student-run entrepreneurship competition that will fuel the next generation of technology entrepreneurs: the UCSD Entrepreneur Challenge. $80,000 in prizes awarded in the 2008-2009 academic year.

The Spring Quarter Business Plan Competition

The year concludes with the submission of a complete business plan consisting of both an Executive Summary as well as a 15 slide PowerPoint presentation.  The top five overall submissions will then be selected to present in front of a live panel of judges with the top three being awarded.  Winners of the 2009-2010 business plan competition were awarded a total of $80,000 in cash and professional services.

Specialized Tracks

In addition to the primary business plan competition, the Entrepreneur Challenge awards prizes to submissions in the specialized tracks of HighTech/IT, Biotech/Life Sciences, Social Entrepreneurism, Clean Tech, and Undergraduate.
