UCSD Entrepreneur Challenge - An entirely student-run entrepreneurship competition that will fuel the next generation of technology entrepreneurs: the UCSD Entrepreneur Challenge. $80,000 in prizes awarded in the 2008-2009 academic year.

  The Fall Quarter Elevator Pitch Competition

The year begins with a one-page elevator pitch competition.  A panel of professional judges will narrow the entries to the top 8 which will be invited to give their elevator pitch to a live audience at during our Winter Quarter Kickoff Event.  $1,000 is awarded to the top pitch as determined by an audience vote.

Teams should keep in the mind the following questions when crafting their submissions:

• What is the problem are you solving?
• How will your innovation solve this problem?
  
• How will your busines idea make money?
• What is your competitive advantage?
