2007-2008 2nd Annual $50K Entrepreneurship Competition Overview
UCSD's entrepreneurial community made up of students, researchers, and even professors participated in the year long Second Annual $50K Entrepreneurship Competition. This year the student organizers of the competition worked together to successfully::
- Raise $122,500 from their 19 corporate and 6 university sponsors
- Attract over 400 individuals competiting and a total of 68 unique teams submit in the three competitions
- Host 11 Business Educational, 26 Networking, and 3 Inspirational Kickoff Events
- Award over $50,000 in cash prizes and $5,000 in Legal Service Awards
